Lucy & Leo’s was created in 2009, born from a dream to give Tallahassee, Florida exactly what it was missing – a one-of-a-kind cupcakery. Lucy & Leo’s uses only the freshest ingredients (no pre-made mixes or frostings) for its made-from-scratch-daily confections. Offering a rotating menu of classic cupcakes and deliciously different flavors, the menu is seasonal and appealing to all ages.

Since its grand opening, Lucy & Leo’s has been adorned with accolades and awards, and rewarded with steady growth.

Lucy & Leo’s participated in the  Food Network’s baking competition show, “Cupcake Wars,” in 2011, received the Tally Award for Best Dessert 2012 and the Best of Tally Bakery award in 2010, 2011, and 2012. In addition to this, Lucy & Leo’s has been featured in Southern Living magazine, Tallahassee Magazine, and Cooking with Paula Dean; it also boasts over 9,000 Facebook fans, a number which increases every day.

From its inauspicious beginning as a small folding card table operation in 2008 to a three-location community staple, the exponential growth of the cupcakery shows no signs of slowing down. Lucy & Leo’s proudly features a mobile food truck, an off-site industrial kitchen, catering options for virtually any sized event and a large staff of exemplary, service-driven employees.

Lucy & Leo’s is proud to be about more than just cupcakes. A strong community presence through event participation, non-profit fundraisers, donations, workshops, unique events, and more make the cupcakery and its cupcakes a celebration of the individuals who eat them.
